Its my pleasure to Introduce....

Olivia Jo Murray
July 19th 2010
7 Pounds 7 Ounces
19 and a half Inches

I did it..well we did it.. Olivia and I held out till she was fully baked at 39 weeks!! I love having healthy plump babies!! I went in that Monday afternoon to my unscheduled doctors visit because she had not moved much all day long and that was very unusual for my unborn baby. Because it was unscheduled..i waited for all most 2 hours..well during those 2 hours I started contracting regularly..which I had been doing on and off for 2 months now..so I didn't think much of it in fact i ignored it..too many false calls and trips to Labor and Delivery in the past couple months to add one more to the tally. So there I am thinking about what we are going to have for dinner when I get home when my doctor checks me and says..:"well Dusti you are dialated to a 5 and the reason your baby isnt moving much is because you are in labor"..I looked at him and said with a sarcastic tone to my voice "Real Labor"? He answered me by picking up the phone and calling labor and delivery to let them know I was on my way to be checked in. As I waled out of the doctors office I reached in my purse to get my phone so I could give My Hubby a heads up that Olivia's head was way down and coming out soon! But wouldn't you know it...I left my phone at home..Luckily I was only minutes away and all ready had all the kiddies clothes packed and mine as well. I had Nate drop me off to the hospital so I could check in while he dropped Hailey and Tavis off to my Sistas for the night. My contractions were coming hard now and they hurt. For some reason the nurse couldn't find me in the computer (even though I had just been there 2 weeks prior) and admissions were taking their sweet time...so I sat there in my cute hospital gown unhooked, unmonitored for an hour (its policy that i cant be helped until I'm on the computer) mean while my contractions are getting worse and the moment Nate walked in the room he had to deliver Olivia all by himself.......HAHAHAHA just kidding!! Just Kidding!!!

They finally got me hooked up and my epidural that only worked on one side for awhile, then broke my water. 2 hours later and 2 pushes..Our 3rd child Olivia Jo Murray came into this world! Luckily the epidural kicked in just in time. Time seemed to stop for the three of us. all the nurses and doctors left the delivery room where Nate, Olivia and I had time, peace and bonding working for us now. She wanted to nurse right away and she's a natural at it. (I'm sooo thankful) After that the next few days are a blur, other than I didn't rip or have to get cut so my recovery has been awesome. Now here I sit Blogging on my first day with all three of my angels napping peacefully (for now). I love being a mom, and for some reason with each one it gets better..its all most like you stop worrying about the petty things and stop to enjoy the rare brief moments a newborn brings into your life. I LOVE IT!!!

all most...30 weeks!!!

I am sooo excited that I am just about to make it to my 30 week mark of my third pregnancy! I know this may seem a weird mark in pregnancy but you see..for some reason my body likes to go into labor before the due time! With Tavis and Hailey I went into Labor between 32 and 34 weeks..I dialate to a 3 quick then my doctor puts me in the hospital for a few days..pumps me up with mag(yuck) gives me shots of tributaline and FINALLY my contractions will stop. Then he sends me home with a bottle of tributaline, puts me on bed rest and my babies both stayed in till 39 weeks!!! THIS TIME..I went in for my monthly check up at 25 weeks and I was all ready thinning with contractions so there Nate and I found ourselves in Labor and delivery (which I hate unless its time to have the baby) I couldn't believe that we were in this situation soo early. My plans of a fun packed summer with my two amigos slowly slipped away. I was heart broken when my doctor put me on semi bed rest..which meant NO MORE SALON. AHHH that is my out. I love doing hair and i didn't want to let my clientele down, I was burdened with guilt that my body wasn't strong enough somehow to live my busy life and stay pregnant....My body hurt at 6 months like it does at 9 months. The next couple weeks were really hard for me..I don't think you realize how much you really do on a day to day basis until you cant anymore. I couldn't believe how much I counted on my healthy body to take care of my home, family and friends. I found myself being on the other end receiving help from family, friends, neighbors, and NATE. This was hard for me..mostly to let Nate take over my domain..our home. I just felt so bad that not only was he out providing for us but now he gets to come home to be the house dad too. And I'll tell you what..I work hard during the day to keep our house clean, stay on budget, take care of our children, do laundry, dishes, floors, bathrooms, grocery shop, etc. Its a full time job that requires allot from your body..not only that but on the weekends he can't rest...I have to..for awhile there I was in bed ALL the time..my body hurt so bad and if I would even get something to eat..I would start to contract!!
Needless to say, I believe that Heavenly Father knows what he is doing. I have learned ALOT through this all, and am so thankful for my body and her ability to do great things..like take care of my family, my husband, my friends, myself. even though I am not up to par right now..I am growing our child in me and Nate has been so specific about that..that I do have a great purpose..even if that has changed for a "season". Never once has Nate complained..not once and this has given me the chance to see him love me in a new light. It has also brought out new friends that have been there for me every step of the way. I am so thankful this rainy May day that I have the life I have. the people that I have chosen to be apart of it, and even the ones I haven't. I've been going in every week now for those wonderful "checkups" and i am actually going backwards! I am now only 10 to 20 percent thinning and feeling much much better. I only have 2 months left. I say only from the positive side of me..I say still from the pregnant part of me. My fingers are crossed that my dear body will stay strong enough and my baby girl can come out fully "baked" and healthy like my first two did!! SO here's to "all most 30 weeks pregnant"! cheers!!

Tavis is 5!!!

I cant' believe my first born is 5 yrs old all ready..the time has gone by to fast. Before I know it he's going to be going off far somewhere to serve a mission or go to college..Im allready having a hard time with him starting kindergarten this year..ill be a mess when he goes to first grade ALL day! Then somebody else is influencing him more time than I am...ahhh. I love Tavis so much he is my tender hearted little dude. He watches over and takes care of me and has the funniest things come out of his mouth. THe otherday he asked Nate while watching T.V." Are those people in our world..or in a whole other one"? His little imagination lights up my days and I adore him. I still remember life before him and I would never go back.. he was the first to move and kick me inside my belly..his was the first little voice I heard call me mommy..his first steps were the first i saw and felt take my breath away..he was the first to make a soccer goal and smile from ear to ear! His prayers are so darn cute I want it to be his turn everytime..whether we are praying over food or during our night time prayers..he NEVER leaves anybody out..and he is very specific about what he prays for each person...His prayers give me a chance to see what he learns about people and their needs. for example..last night he prayed that "mommy would be blessed to have her hair grow longer" and hailey would be blessed to get a pony..pink pony costume" and papa d (who is very sick) would be healed by Jesus. He also thanks heavenly father for daddy's Job and askes that he will be blessed there so we can stay in our home" It's amazing what our little ones really pick up and understand. I love you Tavis and I am so proud of you. you are Brave, couragious, very smart and loving..I know you will lead a happy life and am so excited to share that with you. thankyou for choosing me to be your mommy.

Its a Girl!!!

We are so excited that we are having another..boy or girl...but I will admit that I am so excited to have another little one to dress up and play dolls with. Hailey is very excited. We asked them what they wanted to name their little sister. Tavis of coarse said Kennedy (his favorite babysitter) and Hailey said "Cha Chi" well hate to break it to ya Hailey..but I think we'll have to come up with something else. They are both very excited! I knew it was a Girl but it's fun to be validated in those mommy intuitions I get. 4 months left..thats it. cant believe it. very excited and grateful!!

Love you all
